Brazilian fishermen have a fun game, in which they watch piranhas literally flip out over big pieces of meat.
First, they throw a few little pieces in the river to see the fish violently thrash around and devour the food in seconds.
This is repeated one more time before more giant chunks of savory goodness are tossed in, igniting a splashing frenzy that looks like a few dozen cases of firecrackers going off underwater.
It seems that after all the gore and special effects, those movies didn’t even come close to capturing how vicious these things are when eating.
